Baseball Scoreboard
Keep the score as a baseball game unfolds. Record runs, hits and fielding errors, track balls, strikes and outs, and place runners manually. Three outs advance the half inning. Correct any inning score or count, undo the last event, and print or download the complete record.
Runs and hits: batting team. Errors: fielding team. Update runners manually.
Manual runners
Runner movements are manual. Advancing the half inning clears all bases.
Inning scoreboard
| Team | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | R | H | E |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Away | 0 | – | – | – | – | – | – | – | – | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| Home | – | – | – | – | – | – | – | – | – | 0 | 0 | 0 |
A dash means no inning score has been recorded. Zero means the half inning has been opened or entered as scoreless.
Pitch counts and scoring conventions
Runs and hits go to the batting team. Errors go to the fielding team. Hits, errors and runs do not move runners or clear the count. Ball in play records one pitch and clears the count; record the play’s outcome separately.
Team pitches thrown: Away 0 · Home 0. These are team totals, not individual pitcher records.
Ball, Strike, Foul and Ball in play each add one pitch. The other buttons do not. Avoid counting the same pitch twice. A third strike records an out; standard fouls do not add a third strike. Use corrections for dropped-third-strike, caught-foul or other special outcomes. No automatic game-ending, walk-off or mercy rule is applied.

Common questions
- What happens after three outs?
- The scoreboard advances from the top to the bottom of an inning, or from the bottom to the next inning. Balls, strikes, outs and manual runners clear. Runs, hits, errors and pitch totals remain. Undo restores the whole preceding state.
- Does ball four move runners automatically?
- No. A fourth ball clears the ball/strike count and displays a walk prompt. You place the batter and advance any forced runners manually. No runs are added automatically.
- How are pitches, strikeouts and fouls recorded?
- Ball, Strike, Foul and Ball in play each add one pitch to the fielding team’s total. A third strike records an out. Standard fouls stop adding strikes at two; use an out or count correction for caught fouls, dropped-third-strike situations or other special outcomes. Pitch totals are for teams, not individual pitchers.
- Which buttons add hits, runs or errors?
- Run +1 and Hit +1 apply to the batting team. Fielding error +1 applies to the other team. These actions do not move runners, clear counts or add pitches. Ball in play adds one pitch and clears the count, leaving you to enter the result separately.
- Can I correct an earlier inning or change team names?
- Yes. Expand the correction controls to edit team names, the current count, a team’s runs in any inning, or hits/errors/pitch totals. Moving to another half inning clears counts and runners while preserving scores. Every recorded correction can be undone. Blank inning runs mean not played; zero means scoreless.
- Does the game end automatically?
- No. Mark final when your game has ended and Resume game to continue recording play. No automatic walk-off, mercy, tie or extra-inning rule is applied. Corrections and undo remain available after marking final. The scoreboard supports up to 99 innings.
- Where is my game saved?
- It stays in memory in this browser tab and is not automatically saved. Reloading or leaving can lose it. Download a text record or print it to keep all recorded events. Starting a new game clears the scoreboard and undo history; records cannot be imported back.
