What the tools are
Every tool on Gizmobench is informational. It computes a stated formula, converts between stated units, or transforms the text or file you give it, in your browser. Each tool page carries an accuracy line that says what it is exact about and what it cannot know. Read it.
Check before it matters
A result here is a starting point, not a decision. Before you rely on a number for anything that affects your health, your safety, your money or a legal position, check it against a professional instrument or a professional. We deliberately do not build tools whose wrong answer could hurt someone, and we say so on the about page.
What we promise, and what we do not
- No account, no upload. Nothing you type or open leaves your browser. The privacy page lists the anonymous counters we keep.
- Best effort, stated plainly. The accuracy lines are honest about what a tool cannot know, and most tools carry an automated test suite that has to pass before anything deploys. They are provided as they are, without a warranty of any kind.
- Limited liability. To the extent the law allows, Gizmobench and its maker are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, a tool or a result.
- Your content stays yours. We never see it, so we claim nothing over it.
