Does the PNG have a transparent background?

Yes. The canvas background is left transparent in both Type and Draw modes. The PNG uses three pixels per unit of the signature's drawing box, and the export-size row shows its pixel dimensions. The preview fits its card or pad, so its visible width can differ from the drawing box.

Can I draw my signature instead of typing it?

Yes. Switch the Mode control to Draw and sign on the pad with a mouse, a trackpad, a finger or a stylus. The size control is relabelled Pen and sets how thick the line is, the ink colour is the one you picked, and Clear starts over. The download is cropped to the edge of your ink plus a small margin, so you do not get a large rectangle of empty space around a small signature. Drawn signatures are never stored: they exist only until you clear the pad or leave.

Which fonts does it use?

Six script faces from Google Fonts: Dancing Script, Great Vibes, Sacramento, Allura, Homemade Apple and Mr Dafoe. Great Vibes and Allura are formal copperplate hands, Sacramento and Dancing Script are lighter and more modern, Mr Dafoe is a brush script, and Homemade Apple is the one that reads as actual handwriting rather than calligraphy. They are self-hosted with the page, so no request goes to a font service when you load it.

No. The name is measured, drawn and turned into a file entirely in your browser, and there is no server involved at any step. Your name and the choices you made, the font, the ink, the slant and the size, are kept in this browser's local storage so the tool looks the same next time; that data never leaves the machine, and clearing your site data removes it.
