Revision Timetable Maker

Fit your own study workload around your week and see what still needs time. Enter tasks, deadlines and available windows, then subtract sleep, work and recurring routines. Move or lock study blocks, review unscheduled minutes and keep an editable project or complete printable timetable.

Your supplied workload, local dates and wall-clock times. Valid locked blocks stay fixed.

Priority 1 is first within the same deadline. Every study block has its full break afterward, including the last block. Shorter final blocks use the remaining allowed time.

  • Overloaded weekTwo 2-hour tasks; one 2-hour slot; no breaks.
    120 minutes remain unscheduled.
  • Blocked routineSleep or work occupies an entered slot.
Study and following breaks stay outside that time.
  • Locked editMove a block, lock it, then regenerate.
The valid moved block stays fixed.

Accuracy. This timetable allocates only the workload and availability you supply, using local calendar dates and wall-clock minutes. Tasks are ordered by deadline, then priority, then entry order; valid locked blocks stay fixed, and unplaced work is reported. Every study block reserves its configured break afterward, including the last block; shorter blocks can use remaining time, with no grade or optimal-learning prediction.

Common questions

How does the revision timetable choose which task goes first?
Tasks with earlier deadlines are allocated first. Tasks sharing a deadline use your declared priority, with 1 first, then their entry order. A blank deadline means the end of the selected week. The planner allocates the study minutes you enter and does not determine how much you should study.
What happens when there is not enough available time?
The allocation report keeps every task and shows requested, planned and unscheduled study minutes separately. For example, two 120-minute tasks in one 120-minute window with no breaks leave 120 minutes unscheduled. You can adjust your supplied workload, windows, deadlines or block placement and regenerate.
How are breaks and overnight sleep handled?
Every placed study block reserves its full configured break immediately afterward, including the final block. Both study and breaks must fit allowed time and stay outside sleep, work or other entered routines. An end earlier than a start crosses midnight; recurring Sunday-night routines also cover Monday morning.
Can the planner use a shorter study block?
Yes. A shorter final block may use the remaining allowed time after reserving its following break, or finish a task with fewer minutes remaining. It never schedules more study than you requested. Study must finish by the task deadline; its break may follow the deadline if it still fits the allowed window.
How can I move, lock or undo a block?
Drag a block from the editable list onto the weekly calendar to move it to the nearest 15 minutes. Touch and keyboard users can choose Edit block and enter the exact date, start, duration and task. Both paths check the same conflicts. Lock keeps a valid block fixed during regeneration; Undo block edit restores a previous valid timetable after moving, locking or deleting a block.
What if new settings make a locked block invalid?
Regeneration reports the conflict and keeps the project for correction. It does not silently move the lock. Move, shorten or remove the conflicting block, restore the task or availability, or use Clear schedule to remove all study blocks while keeping the workload and windows.
Are dates affected by time zones or daylight saving?
The timetable uses the explicit Monday date and integer wall-clock minutes you enter. It does not convert them to UTC or to another time zone. A daylight-saving transition therefore does not shift the displayed dates or clock times. These are local planning intervals, not elapsed-time measurements.
Can I save, import or print the timetable?
Valid touched projects are saved in this browser. Project JSON contains editable tasks, settings, windows and blocks; a whole imported project is validated before replacing the current one. Print and downloadable A4 landscape PDF include the full weekly grid plus complete task, unscheduled-work and block legends on continuation pages. PDF text is drawn into images to preserve your local labels.
