Bold Text Generator
Turn any text into bold Unicode letters you can paste where formatting is not allowed: Instagram and TikTok bios, tweets, YouTube comments, Discord names and plain text fields. The bold row comes first, with bold italic, sans bold and bold script under it, and every row has its own copy button. Bold here is made of real characters from the Mathematical Bold block, capitals, lowercase and digits, so it survives any text field that takes Unicode.

Common questions
- How do I make text bold on Instagram or TikTok?
- Neither app has a bold button for bios or captions. Type or paste your text above, press Copy on the Bold row, and paste it into the bio or caption field. The characters are Unicode letters, not formatting, so they stay bold wherever they land.
- Why does this bold look different from the app's own bold?
- Because it is a different set of characters. An app's bold is its own interface font drawn heavier; this bold is the Mathematical Bold alphabet, ๐๐๐, which most systems draw with a serif face. Sans bold, ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฐ, is the row to use when you want it to match a modern interface font.
- Do numbers and punctuation go bold?
- Digits do: 0 to 9 have Mathematical Bold forms, ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, and the tool uses them. Punctuation, spaces, accented letters and emoji have no bold form and are left exactly as typed, which keeps the text readable rather than swapping in something wrong.
- Will a screen reader read bold Unicode text?
- Some read it letter by letter with the word mathematical in front of each one, and some skip it. Keep the plain version nearby for anything that matters, and use bold Unicode for a name or a heading rather than a whole post.
- Can I search for bold text once it is posted?
- No. A bold a is a different character from the letter a, so a page search or a site search for the plain word will not find the bold one. That is the price of the look travelling with the text.
Bold, italic, script, gothic, outline, monospace and bubble styles are real Unicode letters that paste anywhere text is allowed; small caps, small text and upside-down use lookalike characters, and strikethrough and underline add combining marks that a few apps remove. Letters with no styled form are left as typed.
