The underline alphabet
Each eligible grapheme gets U+0332. The mark is a character, not HTML or Word underline formatting; continuity and height depend on the destination font.

Common questions
- What does this style change?
- Each eligible grapheme gets U+0332. The mark is a character, not HTML or Word underline formatting; continuity and height depend on the destination font.
- Can I make bold or bold italic underline?
- Use two manual passes: on the Bold page copy Bold or Bold italic, paste that copied result into this page’s input, and copy Underline. A mark is added to the already styled letters. The tool has no combined-format control, and acceptance and rendering still depend on the destination.
- Can I paste this into a bio, display name or game?
- Copy a row and test it in the destination’s draft field. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Discord, WhatsApp and games have their own accepted-character, length and display rules, which may change. This tool prepares Unicode text; it does not integrate with those services or guarantee that a handle is accepted.
- What happens to accents and non-Latin scripts?
- Most styles map ASCII A–Z, a–z and selected digits. Precomposed é stays é in Bold; a decomposed e plus an accent styles the e and keeps its mark. Non-Latin letters usually pass through. Underline and strikethrough can add a mark to a whole grapheme, but there is no native bold or cursive alphabet for every language.
- Will search and screen readers treat this like ordinary text?
- Styled Unicode letters are different characters. Search, normalization, spell-checking and screen-reader pronunciation vary by app. Keep a plain version nearby when the wording needs to be read or found reliably.
Bold, italic, script, gothic, outline, monospace and bubble styles are real Unicode letters rather than font formatting; small caps, small text and upside-down use lookalike characters, and strikethrough and underline add combining marks. Display, acceptance, search and screen-reader pronunciation depend on the destination. Letters with no styled form are left as typed; most styles map only ASCII letters and selected digits.
