Cursive Sentence Worksheets
This page opens on four sentences in cursive at 0.5 in rows, the smallest size, so each sentence fits on one row. The first, The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog, uses every letter of the alphabet; three everyday sentences follow. Each one gets a model row, two trace rows and a blank row, 16 rows on one page. Replace them with your own sentences, one per line, and press Make worksheet.
Each line becomes a labeled group of a model row, trace rows and blank rows.

Common questions
- How do I make a cursive paragraph worksheet?
- Paste the paragraph as a single line, with no line breaks. A line longer than one row wraps onto as many rows as it needs, and each wrapped row gets its own model, trace and blank rows, so the paragraph reads in order down the page. A worksheet takes up to 500 characters.
- Can I make the letters bigger?
- Yes. Pick 0.625, 0.75 or 1 in under Row size. Bigger letters fit fewer words on a row, so a long sentence wraps onto a second model row with its own trace and blank rows.
- Can I practise the same sentences in print?
- Yes. Choose Print under Letters and the same sentences are drawn in Roboto on the same guide lines; Formal cursive draws them in Allura, a more slanted script.
Letter shapes come straight from the fonts, Roboto for print and Dancing Script or Allura for cursive, so they are font examples, not a named school handwriting method, and the sheets give no stroke order. Row sizes are exact only when the page is printed at 100%, not fit to page, and a character the chosen font lacks is named in a warning and left out rather than printed as an empty box. The fonts are served from this site, unmodified, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, with their notices.
