Android Phone Screen Sizes
Samsung Galaxy S, Note and A phones, Google Pixel phones and the OnePlus 13, each with its screen in inches and centimetres and its panel resolution. The readings on this page come from the phone you are holding, so its own numbers sit beside the table.
Nothing here is sent anywhere: the page asks your own browser what it knows and prints the answer. The figures refresh on their own when the window changes size or the device turns, so you can drag the window and watch the viewport follow.
Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel and OnePlus screen sizes
Diagonal and panel pixels are the maker's published figures. A browser on Android reports a size that follows the display size setting, so there is no single CSS figure to list and no row is marked.

Measure a screen by hand
Run a tape measure across the lit picture only, not the frame around it: the width along the bottom edge and the height up one side. Type both here and the diagonal comes back, which is the number a TV, monitor, laptop, tablet or phone is sold by.
- Enter a width and a height to see the diagonal.
Common resolutions
Names and examples for familiar resolutions, with their exact aspect ratios. Phone and tablet rows use CSS pixels; display rows use panel pixels. Browser zoom and display scaling affect how the reported readings relate to these examples. Your own screen is marked when its reported resolution matches a named row.

Common questions
- Why does my phone report fewer pixels than its panel?
- A browser reports CSS pixels, not screen dots. A phone with a 1080 × 2340 panel at a device pixel ratio of 3 reports 360 × 780, and the Physical row multiplies it back. On Android the ratio follows the display size setting, which is why this table lists only the panel resolution.
- Does the diagonal count the rounded corners?
- No. Makers quote the diagonal as if the screen were a full rectangle, so rounded corners and the camera cut-out leave the visible area slightly smaller than the figure suggests.
- Which of these phones have the same screen?
- The Galaxy S22 Ultra and S23 Ultra share a 6.8-inch 1440 × 3088 panel. The Galaxy A16, A36 and S25 FE are all 6.7 inches at 1080 × 2340. The Pixel 9, 9a, 10, 10a and 11 are all 6.3 inches at 1080 × 2424, and the Pixel 9 Pro XL, 10 Pro XL and 11 Pro XL are all 6.8 inches at 1344 × 2992.
- Can it tell my phone's screen size in inches?
- Not from the browser, which reports pixels and never inches. Find your model in the table for the maker's figure, or measure the lit screen from corner to corner with a ruler.
Exact for what the browser reports: the screen in CSS pixels, the device pixel ratio and the viewport. The physical size in inches and the true DPI are not reported by any browser, so they are not claimed.
