Number Wheel

Start with a working 1 to 20 number wheel, then supply both ends of your own integer range. Every integer between them becomes one equal-chance ticket, including negative numbers and zero. The range can contain at most 500 numbers. Set aside removes a selected number for the following spins; Keep in wheel leaves it available. The result is chosen by the browser before the wheel moves. Press Space to spin without reaching for the mouse. Entries are separated by line breaks and by commas, so a column pasted from a spreadsheet and a comma list both work. Editing the list rebuilds the wheel and clears the history. Reset puts every entry back without touching the list, and Shuffle changes the order on the wheel without changing anyone's chance.

The spin decides nothing. The winner is drawn from crypto.getRandomValues the moment you press Spin, and the angle the wheel stops at is worked out from that winner's segment before the first frame is drawn. Watching it slow down cannot change who came out. Each entry on the wheel has the same chance: the index is taken by rejection sampling rather than a remainder, so no position in your list is favoured, and the spin length changes how many turns you watch, not the odds. An entry typed twice is two segments, which is how you give someone two chances, and the header over the list counts the repeats so it is never a surprise.

Common questions

Are both ends included in the number wheel?
Yes. A range from 1 to 20 includes 1 and 20 and creates 20 tickets. A range from -3 to 3 includes -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2 and 3. Each remaining number is one equal-chance ticket. The first end must be no greater than the last.
Can I spin 1 to 10, 1 to 100 or a negative range?
Yes. Change the two whole-number ends. Any inclusive range of at most 500 integers works when both ends are between -9007199254740991 and 9007199254740991. Decimal ends and scientific notation are refused. Invalid ranges show an error and cannot produce a draw.
Can the wheel contain numbers 1 to 1000?
This visual wheel supports at most 500 tickets. For 1 to 1000 or a larger range, use the random number generator, which returns a number without drawing a wheel. A range error never silently clips your requested endpoints.
How do I draw numbers without repeats?
Use Set aside. Every number occurs once in a generated range, and its ticket is removed after the wheel stops. Spin again to choose from the remaining tickets. Reset restores the complete range. Keep in wheel allows the same number to appear on later independent draws.
Does a longer spin change the odds?
No. The browser draws the number first with cryptographic random values and rejection sampling, then animates the predetermined result. Short, Normal and Long affect only the display duration. Reduced-motion settings reveal the same kind of draw without a turning animation.
Can I copy the number or draw several ranges at once?
Copy a completed number or the latest 100 shown spins as text, or save a winner card. Only one wheel and one range run at a time. Changing the range clears its elimination pool and history. Multiple simultaneous wheels, decimal-step ranges and exact percentage weights are not implemented.
