The word lists are bundled (about 400 adjectives and 400 nouns) and never fetched. They hold no first names, surnames, brands or body parts, so nothing the tool adds can turn a handle into a real person’s name. Whether a handle is still free is something only the platform can tell you: check it there before you settle on one.

Common questions

What are Roblox's username rules?
A username is 3 to 20 characters of letters and digits. One underscore is allowed, anywhere except the first or last position, and a second underscore is not; dots, hyphens and spaces are not allowed at all. Roblox also runs its own filter for words it does not permit, which this tool cannot see: the handles here pass the length and character rules, and the bundled word lists are everyday adjectives and nouns, but the final word on a name is Roblox's.
Can it check whether a Roblox username is available?
No. Availability is held on Roblox's servers and cannot be checked from a page in your browser. The sign-up page at roblox.com says whether a username is taken as you type it, and an existing account can check the same way from Settings, Account Info, where changing a username costs Robux. Copy the handles you like from here, try them there, and draw another ten if they are all gone.
Why does the gamer style give fewer patterns here?
The gamer style has three patterns: two capitalised words with two digits (RiverPixel42), a word wrapped in x (xRiverx), and two capitalised words joined by an underscore (River_Pixel). All three pass Roblox's rules, since one underscore in the middle is allowed, so you will see all three on this page. What Roblox refuses is a second underscore, River_Pixel_9 for instance, and the tool never builds that form.
Will the handles use my real name?
Only if you type it. The bundled word lists, about 400 adjectives and 400 nouns, hold no first names, surnames or brands, so nothing the tool adds can make a handle read as a person's name. That matters on Roblox, where the username is public in every game: put a hobby or a favourite thing in the Words field and the tool builds around that instead.
Does a Roblox display name follow the same rules?
It uses the same character set, so a handle from this page suits either, but two rules differ. A display name does not have to be unique: other players can carry the same one, while a username is yours alone across Roblox. And a display name can be changed once every seven days, where the username is the name you log in with. This page checks the username rules, since that is the name you sign up with.
