Phrase Word Cloud Generator
This preset counts each complete nonblank line as one phrase and starts with common-word filtering set to Keep. Paste one response, name or phrase per line; repeat it to increase its frequency. Surrounding whitespace is trimmed, internal whitespace collapsed and curly apostrophes normalized. The drawing may omit entries that do not fit, while the table keeps the top selected counts.

Paste some text and the cloud draws itself.
Put one complete phrase on each line. Blank lines are ignored; surrounding whitespace is trimmed and internal whitespace collapsed. Common-word filtering matches whole entries, so it does not remove a word from inside a phrase.
The PNG saves at 960 by 680 pixels, twice the 480 by 340 drawing it is made from, on the same dark background, in the fonts already on your computer.
Every count in the cloud
The top phrases selected for the cloud, with the share each takes of the 0 phrases counted. An entry missing from the picture is one that would not fit in the space left, never one that was counted differently.

The common words, and how words are matched
A plain list of 174 English function words, bundled with the page and never fetched. Edit it here: take a word out and it returns to the cloud, add one and it goes. Matching ignores capitals, so a listed word is skipped however it was typed.
Common words is set to Keep, so nothing on this list is being skipped.
Common questions
- Does it find phrases automatically inside prose?
- No. Line breaks define entries. Put the phrases you want together on separate lines; a whole paragraph on one line is treated as one long entry and may not fit.
- Do repeated names count together?
- Identical normalized entries do. Tick the case-grouping checkbox to merge different capitalization. Punctuation is retained, so Jane Smith and Smith, Jane remain different entries.
- Can I supply a phrase and a frequency number?
- There is no weighted-column importer. Repeat the same phrase on separate lines for the number of occurrences you want counted.
Sizes come from counts after the visible common-word and length filters. Words mode splits text into words; Phrases counts each nonblank line as one entry, trimming and collapsing whitespace. Curly apostrophes are normalized in both modes. Case grouping is optional; different spellings are not merged. The table shows the top selected entries, including those that did not fit in the drawing.
