Binder Terms of Use

Acceptance

By installing or using Family Bill Organizer, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms supplement Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement where that agreement applies.

What the app is

Binder is a manual household bill record and family handoff tool. It helps you write down bill details, local reminder timing, paid status, owner labels, notes, recurring history, and a binder PDF for people you choose to share with. Optional iCloud sync lets invited household participants edit a shared binder.

What the app is not

• It does not pay bills, move money, verify balances, link bank accounts, aggregate accounts, provide credit scores, or make financial decisions.

• It is not financial, legal, tax, credit, accounting, or estate-planning advice.

• You are responsible for checking billers, account portals, mailed statements, due dates, payment confirmation, and any family instructions before acting.

Your content

The bill information, notes, PDFs, and exports you create belong to you. We do not claim ownership of your content. Your content stays on your device unless you enable iCloud, join a shared household, or export or share it through iOS. Household members with edit access can change the shared records. The activity feed records actions taken in Binder, not verified bank transfers. Offline edits sync when iCloud becomes available; background updates are not guaranteed to arrive immediately. iCloud accounts, sufficient storage, and Apple service availability are required.

Free and Pro access

• Free access includes five active bills, two lists, and two notes per household (with unlimited list items), private iCloud sharing, activity history, calendars, reminders, night theme, recaps, and PDF and data exports.

• The organizer’s active Pro subscription unlocks unlimited active bills, lists, and notes for their household. Participants do not each need Pro. Existing bills and history stay usable if the subscription ends; the limit applies to new additions and reactivating bills. Household entitlement updates require periodic connectivity.

• We may adjust features or limits for future versions, but existing local records remain yours.

Subscriptions

• Family Bill Organizer offers optional monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions. Exact prices appear in the app purchase sheet and Apple’s confirmation dialog before purchase.

• Eligible subscribers may receive a free trial. Its exact duration and the localized renewal price appear next to the purchase button and in Apple’s purchase sheet. The trial converts automatically to a paid subscription unless canceled before it ends.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

• Manage or cancel anytime in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

• Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Family Bill Organizer does not receive or store payment card details.

Acceptable use

• Use the app only for lawful personal household record keeping.

• Do not attempt to disrupt the app, bypass subscriptions, reverse engineer the app, or use it to harm another person.

• Do not share another person’s bill information unless you have permission or a lawful reason to do so.

Availability and changes

The app is provided as is and may contain bugs or interruptions. We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app. If terms materially change, the updated date will change and the app may ask you to acknowledge the new terms.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Family Bill Organizer and its operator are not liable for missed payments, late fees, overdrafts, incorrect records, family disputes, loss of data, indirect damages, or decisions made from manual records. Always verify important bill information with the biller.
