Kept Support

Email harshp.build@gmail.com. We reply within one business day. Please don't send entries, messages or photos from your record; tell us what you tapped and what you saw, and your app version from the bottom of Settings.

Common questions

Is my record private?

Yes. Your record is on your iPhone and in your own private iCloud, which we can't read. Set a Kept passcode or Face ID in Settings → Lock.

Does the other parent see it?

No. Kept is a private journal for one parent, not a messaging app. Nothing goes to anyone unless you share it yourself.

How do I log a handoff?

Tap + and pick Handoff. Kept fills in the direction and the time from your plan, so most handoffs take a few taps. If it happened within the window you set, it's marked As planned.

Can I change an entry?

Yes. Every edit is saved as a new version, and the original stays in the entry's change history with the time of each change. Removing an entry keeps it in the history too.

How do I share with my attorney?

Settings → Sharing → Share read only with your attorney. They open it through iCloud with their own Apple Account, can read it and share the PDF, and can't change anything. They don't need a subscription. You can stop sharing any time.

How do I make a report?

Open Report, pick the dates, and tap Share PDF. A CSV is in the More menu. Settings → Download a copy saves everything: PDF, CSV and photos.

I got a new iPhone.

Install Kept, sign in to the same Apple Account, and tap "Already use Kept? Restore". Your record comes back from your iCloud.

How do I cancel?

iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Kept. Your record stays on your iPhone, readable and exportable, after Kept Pro ends.

Is Kept legal advice?

No. Kept is a record keeping tool, not legal advice. For advice about your situation, talk to a family law attorney.

Refunds:

reportaproblem.apple.com (Apple handles all billing).
