Pocket Tip Tracker Terms of Use

Last updated: October 14, 2026

Acceptance

By downloading or using Pocket Tip Tracker (“Pocket”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Pocket is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Apple EULA”). These terms add details specific to Pocket; where they conflict with the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA controls. Pocket is operated by Harsh Patel.

What Pocket is

Pocket is a personal record of your shift income. You enter cash tips, card tips, tip-outs, wages and hours, and Pocket shows totals, take-home, hourly figures, goals and reports from what you entered.

What Pocket is not

  • Pocket is not payroll, tax, accounting, legal or financial advice software. It does not file taxes, verify wages, connect to employers or banks, or move money.

  • Totals, averages and reports are only as accurate as what you enter. Check them against your official pay records before relying on them, for example for taxes, loans or disputes.

Your content

The shifts, notes and files you create belong to you. We do not claim ownership of your content. It stays on your device unless you turn on private iCloud sync or export or share it.

Free and Pro

  • Your first 5 saved shifts are free. Undoing a shift right after saving it gives that free shift back; deleting a saved shift later does not.

  • Pocket Pro unlocks unlimited new shifts, usual-shift templates, more workplaces and wage rates, year and weekday insights, PDF reports and the detailed widget.

  • Reading and editing your saved shifts, week and month insights, CSV exports, backups, reminders and optional private iCloud sync remain available after the free shifts are used or a subscription ends.

  • We may change features or limits in future versions. Records you already created remain yours.

Subscriptions

  • Pocket Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly ($2.99 per month) or yearly ($19.99 per year) in the United States. Prices vary by country and region; the exact price is shown in the app and in Apple’s purchase sheet before you buy.

  • Some people may be offered a free trial or a limited-time introductory price, such as half price for the first year. When an offer applies, its length, its price and the renewal price after it are shown beside the purchase button and confirmed by Apple. A free trial converts to a paid subscription unless canceled at least 24 hours before it ends.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.

  • Manage or cancel anytime in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

  • Apple handles billing and refunds. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. We never receive your payment card details.

Acceptable use

  • Use Pocket only for lawful, personal record keeping.

  • Do not attempt to disrupt the app, bypass subscriptions, or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it.

Availability and changes

Pocket is provided “as is” and may contain bugs or interruptions. Keep a backup or export of records that matter to you. We may update, change, suspend or discontinue parts of the app. If these terms materially change, we will update this page and the date above, and the app may ask you to acknowledge them.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Harsh Patel is not liable for lost data, incorrect totals, tax or payroll outcomes, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of Pocket, and total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Pocket in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
